Ontario Recreational Racing Super Series Inc. – Oval Race & Sled Show Cancellation.

To our dedicated racers, fans, and sponsors,

It is with great disappointment that we must announce the cancellation of this year’s oval race and show.

 

Despite our best efforts, the ongoing weather conditions have made it impossible to maintain a safe and race-ready surface.

Every time we clear the snow, we’re met with deep slush underneath. As we push the slush to the banks, it freezes, creating a dangerous condition. Now, with another storm bringing 20 to 50 cm of fresh snow today—plus more expected over the weekend—we simply can’t keep up. To ensure the safest and most competitive race possible, we’ve had to make the tough call to cancel this year’s event.

Gary and the entire crew have worked tirelessly to build a great track and pit area, but safety is always our top priority, and at this point, conditions are too unpredictable and unsafe for both racers and spectators.

While this is frustrating, we’re already looking ahead to next year. ORRSS will be back, and we’re committed to making the 2026 event bigger and better than ever.

Payouts & Fee's

  • Race Entry Fee: $50.00 per class

  • Driver Fee: $75.00 for the weekend or $50.00 per day

  • This fee covers insurance, paramedic personnel, and hay bales.

  • ​Kids Insurance: $50.00 for the weekend

  • Gate Fee: $25.00 for the weekend or $15.00 for one day

  • Children under 12 or if you have a valid band card enter for free!​

  • Payout: 100% payback​
